The Community Association is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity which is managed by a board of trustees / directors. The principal activity of the company is 'to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community in Gilfach Goch and in particular the advancement of education, the promotion of good health and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness'.
GILFACH GOCH
Gilfach Goch is a former coal mining village located in Taff Ely, RCT and bordering Bridgend County Borough Council. To the west is Ogmore Valley and to the east in Rhondda Valley.
We have been a presence within the community for 26 years however our work extends to surrounding areas and other local authorities. Our employment programme operates throughout the whole of RCT and our disability clients come from as far afield as Cardiff & Bridgend.

How to find us
On entering Gilfach Goch from Bridgend, turn left past fire station and Community Centre is on the right. If coming from Cardiff way, once past playing fields (on right) and Hendreforgan Primary School (on left) turn right and Community Centre on right. Car Park is located next to the playing fields.
