GGCA - Supporting your Community

Who We Are?

We are volunteer members of the community, trained to respond to emergency calls through the 999 system in conjunction with the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust.

As responders we provide immediate care to patients in the areas in which we work and live. We are highly trained by State registered Paramedics and carry the equipment to save your life if you are suffering from a cardiac arrest, when your heart stops beating. When suffering from cardiac arrest you need this life saving intervention to give you the best possible chance of survival.

Because we are based in the areas which we work and live it means we can get to the scene of an emergency in a very short time, often arriving within just 2-3 minutes of the 999 call.

Emergency calls attended include, Cardiac Arrest, Unconscious Patients, Collapsed Patients,Chest Pains, Diabetic Emergencies, Fitting, Convulsions, Stroke, Anaphalaxis,Choking Patients and Trauma.

"When a 999 call is made, your Community First Responders are there for you"
